آیت 5 { وَاِذَا قِیْلَ لَہُمْ تَعَالَوْا یَسْتَغْفِرْ لَــکُمْ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰہِ } ”اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ آئو اپنی غلطی مان لو تاکہ اللہ کے رسول ﷺ تمہارے لیے استغفار کریں“ ظاہر ہے ان کے دلوں میں تو نبی اکرم ﷺ کے خلاف بغض اور عناد پیدا ہوچکا تھا تو ان حالات میں وہ کیسے آتے اور کیونکر اپنی غلطی تسلیم کرتے ؟ { لَوَّوْا رُئُ وْسَہُمْ } ”تو وہ اپنے سروں کو مٹکاتے ہیں“ کہ ہاں ہاں ! ٹھیک ہے ہم آئیں گے ‘ ضرور آئیں گے۔ { وَرَاَیْتَہُمْ یَصُدُّوْنَ وَہُمْ مُّسْتَکْبِرُوْنَ۔ } ”اور آپ انہیں دیکھتے ہیں کہ وہ رک جاتے ہیں تکبر کرتے ہوئے۔“ ان کے دلوں میں چونکہ تکبر ہے ‘ اس لیے وہ آپ ﷺ کے پاس آکر معافی مانگنے کو اپنی ہتک سمجھتے ہیں کہ دیکھیں جی آخر ہماری بھی کوئی عزت ہے ‘ اب کون روز روز وہاں جا کر مجرموں کی طرح اقبالِ جرم کرے اور ڈانٹ سنے !
