ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ يُرَآءُونَ ٦

[1] یہ فقرہ ایک مستقل فقرہ بھی ہوسکتا ہے اور پہلے فقرے سے متعلق بھی۔ اگر اسے ایک مستقل فقرہ قرار دیا جائے تو اس کا مطلب یہ ہوگا کہ کوئی نیک کام بھی وہ خالص نیت کے ساتھ خدا کے لیے نہیں کرتے بلکہ جو کچھ کرتےہیں دوسروں کو دکھانے کے لیے کرتے ہیں تاکہ ان کی تعریف ہو، لوگ ان کو نیکو کار سمجھیں ، ان کے کارِ خیر کا ڈھنڈورا دنیا میں پِٹے، اور اس کا فائدہ کسی نہ کسی صورت میں انہیں دنیا ہی میں حاصل ہو جائے۔ اور اگر اس کا تعلق پہلے فقرے کے ساتھ مانا جائے تو مطلب یہ ہوگا کہ وہ دکھاوے کی نمازیں پڑھتے ہیں۔ مفسّرین نے بالعموم دوسرے ہی معنی کو ترجیح دی ہے کیونکہ پہلی نظر میں یہی محسوس ہوتا ہے کہ اِس کا تعلق پہلے فقرے سے ہے۔ ابن عباس ؓ فرماتے ہیں،”اس سے مراد منافقین ہیں جو دکھاوے کی نماز پڑھتے تھے، اگر دوسرے لوگ موفود ہوتے تو پڑھ لیتے اور کوئی دیکھنے والا نہ ہوتا تو نہیں پڑھتے تھے“۔ دوسری روایت میں اُن کے الفاظ یہ ہیں: ”تنہا ہوتے تو نہ پڑھتے اور عَلانیہ پڑھ لیتے تھے“ (ابن جریر، ابن المنذر، ابن ابی حاتم، ابن مردویہ، بیہقی فی الشعب)۔ قرآن مجید میں بھی منافقین کی یہ حالت بیان کی گئی ہے کہ وَاِذَا قَامُوْٓا اِلَی الصَّلوٰۃِ قَامُوْا کُسَالیٰ یُرَآءُوْنَ النَّاسَ وَلَا یَذْکُرُوْنَ اللہَ اِلَّا قَلِیْلًا۔ ”اور جب وہ نماز کے لیے اُٹھتے ہیں تو کَسْمَساتے ہوئے اُٹھتے ہیں، لوگوں کو دکھاتے ہیں ، اور اللہ کو کم ہی یاد کرتے ہیں“(النساء۔ 142)

Translations are available in both JSON and SQLite database formats. Some translation has footnotes as well, footnotes are embedded in the translation text using sup HTML tag. To support a wide range of applications, including websites, mobile apps, and desktop tools, we provide multiple export formats for translations.

Available export formats:

1. Nested Array Structure

Translations are grouped by Surah. Each Surah is an array containing translations for each Ayah in order. This format export translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes.

2. Key-Value Structure

Each translation is stored with the Ayah reference (e.g. 1:1) as the key and the translated text as the value. This format also exports translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes etc.

Translations with Footnotes

Translations with footnotes are available in three more formats:

1. Footnotes as Tags Format

Footnotes are embedded using a <sup> tag with a foot_note attribute. Footnote contents are stored separately under f key.

2. Inline Footnote Format

Footnotes are inserted directly using double square brackets e.g([[this is footnote]])

3. Text Chunks Format

In chunks export format, text is divided into chunks. Each chunk could be a simple text or an object. Object can be either footnote or a formatting tag. This format is useful for applications can't directly render the HTML tags. Here is an example of Bridges` translation for Surah An-Nas , Ayah 6:
