54:24

فَقَالُوٓاْ أَبَشَرٗا مِّنَّا وَٰحِدٗا نَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِذٗا لَّفِي ضَلَٰلٖ وَسُعُرٍ ٢٤

اور کہنے لگے”ایک اکیلا آدمی جو ہم ہی میں سے ہے کیا اب ہم اُس کے پیچھے چلیں؟¹ اِس کا اتباع ہم قبول کر لیں تو اِس کے معنی یہ ہوں گے کہ ہم بہک گئے ہیں اور ہماری عقل ماری گئی ہے

[1] بالفاظ دیگر، حضرت صالح کی پیروی سے ان کا انکار تین وجوہ سے تھا۔ ایک یہ کہ وہ بشر ہیں ، انسانیت سے بالاتر نہیں ہیں کہ ہم انکی بڑائی مان لیں ۔ دوسرے یہ کہ وہ ہماری اپنی ہی قوم کے ایک فرد ہیں ۔ ہم پر ان کی فضیلت کی کوئی وجہ نہیں ۔ تیسرے یہ کہ اکیلے ہیں ، ہمارے عام آدمیوں میں سے ایک آدمی ہیں ، کوئی بڑے سردار نہیں ہیں جس کے ساتھ کوئی بڑا جتھا ہو، لاؤ لشکر ہو، خَدَم و حشم ہوں ،اور اس بنا پر ہم ان کی بڑائی تسلیم کر لیں ۔ وہ چاہتے تھے کہ نبی یا تو کوئی فوق البشر ہستی ہو، یا اگر وہ انسان ہی ہو تو ہمارے اپنے ملک اور قوم میں پیدا نہ ہوا ہو، بلکہ کہیں اوپر سے اتر کر آئے یا باہر سے بھیجا جائے،اور اگر یہبھی نہیں تو کم از کم اسے کوئی رئیس ہونا چاہیے جس کی غیر معمولی شان و شوکت کی وجہ سے یہ مان لیا جائے کہ رہنمائی کے لیے خدا کی نظر انتخاب اس پر پڑی ہے ۔ یہی وہ جہالت تھی جس میں کفار مکہ مبتلا تھے ۔ محمد صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم کی رسالت ماننے سے ان کا ناکار بھیہ اسی بنیاد پر تھا کہ آپ بشر ہیں عم آدمیوں کی طرح بازاروں میں چلتے پھرتے ہیں ، کل ہمارے ہی درمیان پیدا ہوئے اور آج یہ دعویٰ کر رہے ہیں کہ مجھے خدا نے نبی بنایا ہے ۔

Translations are available in both JSON and SQLite database formats. Some translation has footnotes as well, footnotes are embedded in the translation text using sup HTML tag. To support a wide range of applications, including websites, mobile apps, and desktop tools, we provide multiple export formats for translations.

Available export formats:

1. Nested Array Structure

Translations are grouped by Surah. Each Surah is an array containing translations for each Ayah in order. This format export translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes.

2. Key-Value Structure

Each translation is stored with the Ayah reference (e.g. 1:1) as the key and the translated text as the value. This format also exports translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes etc.

Translations with Footnotes

Translations with footnotes are available in three more formats:

1. Footnotes as Tags Format

Footnotes are embedded using a <sup> tag with a foot_note attribute. Footnote contents are stored separately under f key.

2. Inline Footnote Format

Footnotes are inserted directly using double square brackets e.g([[this is footnote]])

3. Text Chunks Format

In chunks export format, text is divided into chunks. Each chunk could be a simple text or an object. Object can be either footnote or a formatting tag. This format is useful for applications can't directly render the HTML tags. Here is an example of Bridges` translation for Surah An-Nas , Ayah 6:
