سَيُهۡزَمُ ٱلۡجَمۡعُ وَيُوَلُّونَ ٱلدُّبُرَ ٤٥

عنقریب یہ جتّھا شکست کھا جائے گا اور یہ سب پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگتے نظر آئیں گے۔¹

[1] یہ صریح پیش گوئی ہے جو ہجرت سے پانچ سال پہلے کر دی گئی تھی کہ قریش کی جمعیت ، جس کی طاقت کا انہیں بڑا زعم تھا، عنقریب مسلمانوں سے شکست کھا جائے گی۔ اس وقت کوئی شخص یہ تصور تک نہ کر سکتا تھا کہ مستقبل قریب میں یہ انقلاب کیسے ہو گا۔ مسلمانوں کی بے نسی کا حال یہ تھا کہ ان میں سے ایک گروہ ملک چھوڑ کر حبش میں پناہ گزیں ہو چکا تھا ، اور باقی ماندہ اہل ایمان شعب، ابی طالب میں محصور تھے جنہیں قریش کے مقاطعہ اور محاصرہ نے بھوکوں مار دیا تھا۔ اس حالت میں کون یہ سمجھ سکتا تھا کہ سات ہی برس کے اندر نقشہ بدل جانے والا ہے ۔ حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس کے شاگرد عکرمہ کی روایت ہے کہ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے تھے ، جب سورہ قمر کی یہ آیت نازل ہوئی تو میں حیران تھا کہ آخر یہ کونسی جمعیت ہے جو شکست کھائے گی ؟ مگر جب جنگ بدر میں کافار شکست کھا کر بھاگ رہے تھے اس وقت میں نے دیکھا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم زرہ پہنے ہوئے آگے کی طرف جھپٹ رہے ہیں اور آپ کی زبان مبارک پر یہ الفاظ جرای ہیں کہ سَیُھْزَمُ الْجَمْعُوَیُوَلُّوْ ناَ الدُّ بُرَ ،تب میری سمجھ میں آیا کہ یہ تھی وہ ہزیمت جس کی کؓر دی گئی تھی (ابن جریر۔ ابن ابی حاتم)۔

Translations are available in both JSON and SQLite database formats. Some translation has footnotes as well, footnotes are embedded in the translation text using sup HTML tag. To support a wide range of applications, including websites, mobile apps, and desktop tools, we provide multiple export formats for translations.

Available export formats:

1. Nested Array Structure

Translations are grouped by Surah. Each Surah is an array containing translations for each Ayah in order. This format export translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes.

2. Key-Value Structure

Each translation is stored with the Ayah reference (e.g. 1:1) as the key and the translated text as the value. This format also exports translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes etc.

Translations with Footnotes

Translations with footnotes are available in three more formats:

1. Footnotes as Tags Format

Footnotes are embedded using a <sup> tag with a foot_note attribute. Footnote contents are stored separately under f key.

2. Inline Footnote Format

Footnotes are inserted directly using double square brackets e.g([[this is footnote]])

3. Text Chunks Format

In chunks export format, text is divided into chunks. Each chunk could be a simple text or an object. Object can be either footnote or a formatting tag. This format is useful for applications can't directly render the HTML tags. Here is an example of Bridges` translation for Surah An-Nas , Ayah 6:
