لَيۡسَ لِوَقۡعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ ٢

تو کوئی اس کے وقوع کو جُھٹلانے والا نہ ہوگا۔¹

[1] اس فقرے سے کلام کا آغاز خود یہ ظاہر کر رہا ہے، کہ یہ ان باتوں کا جواب ہے جو اس وقت کفار کی مجلسوں میں قیامت کے خلاف بنائی جا رہی تھیں۔ زمانہ وہ تھا جب مکہ کے لوگ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم کی زبان مبارک سے نئی نئی اسلام کی دعوت سن رہے تھے۔ اس میں جو چیز انہیں سب سے زیادہ عجیب اور بعید از عقل و امکان نظر آتی تھی وہ یہ تھی کہ ایک روز زمین و آسمانکا یہ سارا نظام درہم برہم ہو جائے گا اور پھر ایک دوسرا عالم برپا ہوگا جس میں سب اگلے پچھلے مرے ہوئے لوگ دوبارہ زندہ کیے جائیں گے۔ یہ بات سن کر حیرت سے ان کے دیدے پھٹے کے پھٹے رہ جاتے تھے۔ وہ کہتے تھے کہ ایسا ہونا بالکل نا ممکن ہے۔ آخر یہ زمین، یہ پہاڑ، یہ سمندر، یہ چاند، یہ سورج کہاں چلے جائیں گے؟ صدیوں کے گڑے مردے کیسے جی اٹھیں گے؟ مرنے کے بعد دوسری زندگی، اور پھر اس میں بہشت کے باغ اور جہنم کی آگ، آخر یہ خواب و خیال کی باتیں عقل و ہوش رکھتے ہوئے ہم کیسے مان لیں؟ یہی چہ میگوئیاں اس وقت مکہ میں ہر جگہ ہو رہی تھیں۔ اس پس منظر میں فرمایا گیا ہے کہ جب وہ ہونے والا واقعہ پیش آ جائے گا اس وقت کوئی اسے جھٹلانے والا نہ ہو گا۔ اس ارشاد میں قیامت کے لیے ’’واقعہ ‘‘ کا لفظ استعمال کیا گیا ہے جس کے معنی قریب قریب وہی ہیں جس کے لیے اردو زبان میں ہونی شدنی کے الفاظ ہونے جاتے ہیں، یعنی وہ ایسی چیز ہے جسے لازماً پیش آ کر ہی رہنا ہے۔ پھر اس کے پیش آنے کو ’’وَقْعَۃ‘‘ کہا گیا ہے جو عربی زبان میں کسی بڑے حادثہ کے اچانک برپا ہو جانے کے لیے استعمال ہوتا ہے۔ لَیْسَ لِوَ قْعَتِھَا کَاذِبَۃٌ کے دو معنی ہو سکتے ہیں۔ایک یہ کہ اس کے وقوع کا ٹل جانا اور اس کا آتے آتے رک جا نا اور اس کی آمد کا پھیر دیا جانا ممکن نہ ہو گا، یا بالفاظ دیگر کوئی طاقت پھر اس کو واقعہ سے غیر واقعہ بنا دینے والی نہ ہو گی۔ دوسرے یہ کہ کوئی متنفس اس وقت یہ جھوٹ بولنے والا نہ ہو گا کہ وہ واقعہ پیش نہیں آیا ہے۔

Translations are available in both JSON and SQLite database formats. Some translation has footnotes as well, footnotes are embedded in the translation text using sup HTML tag. To support a wide range of applications, including websites, mobile apps, and desktop tools, we provide multiple export formats for translations.

Available export formats:

1. Nested Array Structure

Translations are grouped by Surah. Each Surah is an array containing translations for each Ayah in order. This format export translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes.

2. Key-Value Structure

Each translation is stored with the Ayah reference (e.g. 1:1) as the key and the translated text as the value. This format also exports translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes etc.

Translations with Footnotes

Translations with footnotes are available in three more formats:

1. Footnotes as Tags Format

Footnotes are embedded using a <sup> tag with a foot_note attribute. Footnote contents are stored separately under f key.

2. Inline Footnote Format

Footnotes are inserted directly using double square brackets e.g([[this is footnote]])

3. Text Chunks Format

In chunks export format, text is divided into chunks. Each chunk could be a simple text or an object. Object can be either footnote or a formatting tag. This format is useful for applications can't directly render the HTML tags. Here is an example of Bridges` translation for Surah An-Nas , Ayah 6:
