57:17

ٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحۡيِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۚ قَدۡ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَعۡقِلُونَ ١٧

خوب جان لو کہ اللہ زمین کو اُس کی موت کے بعد زندگی بخشتاہے، ہم نے نشانیاں تم کو صاف صاف دکھا دی ہیں، شاید کہ تم عقل سے کام لو۔¹

[1] یہاں جس مناسبت سے یہ بات ارشاد ہوئی ہے اس کو اچھی طرح سمجھ لینا چاہیے ۔ قرآن مجید میں متعدد مقامات پر نبوت اور کتاب کے نزول کو بارش کی برکات سے تشبیہ دی گئی ہے کیونکہ انسانیت پر اس کے وہی اثرات مرتب ہوتے ہیں جو زین پر بارش کے ہوا کرتے ہیں ۔ جس طرح مردہ پڑی ہوئی زمین بار ان رحمت کا ایک چھینٹا پڑتے ہی لہلہا اٹھتی ہے ، اسی طرح جس ملک میں اللہ کی رحمت سے ایک نبی مبعوث ہوتا ہے اور وحی و کتا ب کا نزول شروع ہوتا ہے وہاں مری ہوئی انسانیت یکایک جی اٹھتی ہے ۔ اس کے وہ جوہر کھلنے لگتے ہیں جنہیں زمانہ پائے دراز سے جاہلیت نے پیوند خاک کر رکھا تھا۔ اس کے اندر سے اخلاق فاضلہ کے چشمے پھوٹنے لگتے ہیں اور خیرات و حسنات کے گلزار لہلہانے لگتے ہیں ۔ اس حقیقت کی طرف جس کی طرف جس غرض کے لیے یہاں اشارہ کیا گیا ہے وہ یہ ہ کہ ضعیف الایمان مسلمانوں کی آنکھیں کھلیں اور وہ اپنی حالت پر غور کریں ۔ نبوت اور وحی کے بارانِ رحمت سے انسانیت جس شان سے از سر نو زندہ ہو رہی تھی اور جس طرح اس کا دامن برکات سے مالا مال ہو رہا تھا وہ ان کے لیے کوئی دور کی داستان نہ تھی۔ وہ خود اپنی آنکھوں سے صحابہ کرامؓ کے پاکیزہ معاشرے میں اس کا مشاہدہ کر رہے تھے ۔ رات دن اس کا تجربہ ان کو ہو رہا تھا۔ جاہلیت بھی اپنے تمام مقاصد کے ساتھ ان کے سامنے موجود تھی، اور اسلام سے پیدا ہونے والے محاسن بھی ان کے مقابلے میں اپنی پوری بہار دکھا رہے تھے ۔ اس لیے ان کو تفصیل کے ساتھ یہ باتیں بتانے کی کوئی حاجت نہ تھی۔ بس یہ اشارہ کر دینا کافی تھا کہ مردہ زمین کو اللہ اپنے باران رحمت سے کس طرح زندگی بخشتا ہے ، اس کی نشانیاں تم کو صاف صاف دکھا دی گئی ہیں ، اب تم خود عقل سے کام لے کر اپنی حالت پر غور کر لو کہ اس نعمت سے تم کیا فائدہ اٹھا رہے ہو۔

Translations are available in both JSON and SQLite database formats. Some translation has footnotes as well, footnotes are embedded in the translation text using sup HTML tag. To support a wide range of applications, including websites, mobile apps, and desktop tools, we provide multiple export formats for translations.

Available export formats:

1. Nested Array Structure

Translations are grouped by Surah. Each Surah is an array containing translations for each Ayah in order. This format export translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes.

2. Key-Value Structure

Each translation is stored with the Ayah reference (e.g. 1:1) as the key and the translated text as the value. This format also exports translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes etc.

Translations with Footnotes

Translations with footnotes are available in three more formats:

1. Footnotes as Tags Format

Footnotes are embedded using a <sup> tag with a foot_note attribute. Footnote contents are stored separately under f key.

2. Inline Footnote Format

Footnotes are inserted directly using double square brackets e.g([[this is footnote]])

3. Text Chunks Format

In chunks export format, text is divided into chunks. Each chunk could be a simple text or an object. Object can be either footnote or a formatting tag. This format is useful for applications can't directly render the HTML tags. Here is an example of Bridges` translation for Surah An-Nas , Ayah 6:
