57:3

هُوَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُ وَٱلۡأٓخِرُ وَٱلظَّٰهِرُ وَٱلۡبَاطِنُۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٌ ٣

وہی اوّل بھی ہے اور آخر بھی ، اور ظاہر بھی ہے اور مخفی بھی،¹ اور وہ ہر چیز کا علم رکھتا ہے

[1] یعنی جب کچھ نہ تھا تو وہ تھا اور جب کچھ نہ رہے تو وہ رہے گا۔ وہ سب ظاہروں سے بڑھ کر ظاہر ہے ، کیونکہ دنیا میں جو کچھ بھی ظہور ہے اسی کی صفات اور اسی کے افعال اور اسی کے نور کا ظہور ہے ۔ اور وہ ہر مخفی سے بڑھ کر مخفی ہے ، کیونکہ حواس سے اس کی ذات کو محسوس کرنا تو درکنار، عقل و فکر و خیال تک اس کی کنہ و حقیقت کو نہیں پا سکتے ۔ اس کی بہترین تفسیر نبی صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم کی ایک دعا کے یہ الفاظ ہیں جنہیں امام احمد، مسلم، ترمذی، اور بیہقی نے حضرت ابو ہریرہؓ سے اور حافظ ابو یعلیٰ موسلی نے اپنی مسند میں حضرت عائشہؓ سے نقل کیا ہے : وانت الاول فلیس قبلک شیءٍ تو ہی پہلا ہے ، کوئی تجھ سے پہلے نہیں وانت الاٰخر فلیس بعدک شیءٍ تو ہی آخر ہے ، کوئ تیرے بعد نہیں و انت الظاھر فلیس فوقک شئٍ تو ہی ظاہر ہے کوئی تیرے تجھ سے اوپر نہیں و انت الباطن فلیس دونک شئٍ تو ہی باطن ہے ، کوئی تجھ سے مخفی تر نہیں یہاں یہ سوال پیدا ہوتا ہے کہ قرآن مجید میں اہل جنت اور اہل دوزخ کے لیے خلود اور ابدی زندگی کا جو ذکر کیا گیا ہے اس کے ساتھ یہبات کیسے نبھ سکتی ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ آخر ہے ، یعنی جب کچھ نہ رہے گا تو وہ رہے گا؟ اس کا جواب خود قرآن مجید ہی میں موجود ہے کہ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ ھَالِکٌ اِلَّا وَجْھَہٗ (القصص۔88)۔ یعنی ’’ ہر چیز فانی ہے اللہ کی ذات کے سوا‘‘۔ دوسرے الفاظ میں ذاتی بقا کسی مخلوق کے لیے نہیں ہے ۔ اگر کوئی چیز باقی ہے یا باقی رہے تو وہ اللہ کے باقی رکھنے ہی سے باقی ہے ۔ اور اس کے باقی رکھنے ہی سے باقی رہ سکتی ہے ، ورنہ بذات خود اس کے سوا سب فانی ہیں ۔ جنت اور دوزخ میں کسی کو خلو د اس لیے نہیں ملے گا کہ وہ بجائے خود غیر فانی ہے ، بلکہ اس لیے ملے گا کہ الہ اس کو حیات ابدی عطا فرمائے گا۔ یہی معاملہ فرشتوں کا بھی ہے کہ وہ بذات خود غیر فانی نہیں ہیں ۔ جباللہ نے چاہا تو وہ وجود میں آئے، اور جب تک وہ چاہے اسی وقت تک وہ موجود رہ سکتے ہیں ۔

Translations are available in both JSON and SQLite database formats. Some translation has footnotes as well, footnotes are embedded in the translation text using sup HTML tag. To support a wide range of applications, including websites, mobile apps, and desktop tools, we provide multiple export formats for translations.

Available export formats:

1. Nested Array Structure

Translations are grouped by Surah. Each Surah is an array containing translations for each Ayah in order. This format export translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes.

2. Key-Value Structure

Each translation is stored with the Ayah reference (e.g. 1:1) as the key and the translated text as the value. This format also exports translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes etc.

Translations with Footnotes

Translations with footnotes are available in three more formats:

1. Footnotes as Tags Format

Footnotes are embedded using a <sup> tag with a foot_note attribute. Footnote contents are stored separately under f key.

2. Inline Footnote Format

Footnotes are inserted directly using double square brackets e.g([[this is footnote]])

3. Text Chunks Format

In chunks export format, text is divided into chunks. Each chunk could be a simple text or an object. Object can be either footnote or a formatting tag. This format is useful for applications can't directly render the HTML tags. Here is an example of Bridges` translation for Surah An-Nas , Ayah 6:
