62:5

مَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ حُمِّلُواْ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةَ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَحۡمِلُوهَا كَمَثَلِ ٱلۡحِمَارِ يَحۡمِلُ أَسۡفَارَۢاۚ بِئۡسَ مَثَلُ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ٥

جن لوگوں کو توراة کا حامل بنایا گیا تھا مگر انہوں نے اس کا بار نہ اُٹھایا،¹ اُن کی مثال اُس گدھے² کی سی ہے جس پر کتابیں لدی ہوئی ہوں۔ اِس سے بھی زیادہ بُری مثال ہےاُن لوگوں کی جنہوں نے اللہ کی آیات کو جُھٹلا دیا ہے۔³ ایسے ظالموں کو اللہ ہدایت نہیں دیا کرتا

[1] یعنی ان کا حال گدھے سے بھی بد تر ہے۔ وہ تو سمجھ بوجھ نہیں رکھتا اس لیے مغرور ہے۔ مگر یہ سمجھ بوجھ رکھتے ہیں۔ توراۃ کو پڑھتے پڑھاتے ہیں۔ اس کے معنی سے ناواقف نہیں ہیں۔ پھر بھی یہ اس کی ہدایات سے دانستہ انحراف کر رہے ہیں، اور اس نبی کو ماننے سے قصداً انکار کر رہے ہیں جو توراۃ کی رو سے سراسر حق پر ہے۔ یہ نا فہمی کے قصور وار نہیں ہیں بلکہ جان بوجھ کر اللہ کی آیات کو جھٹلانے کے مجرم ہیں۔
[2] یعنی جس طرح گدھے پر کتابیں لدی ہوں اور وہ نہیں جانتا کہ اس کی پیٹھ پر کیا ہے ، اسی طرح یہ توراۃ کو اپنے اوپر لادے ہوئے ہیں اور نہیں جانتے کہ یہ کتاب کس لیے آئی ہے اور ان سے کیا چاہتی ہے۔
[3] اس فقرے کے دو معنی ہیں۔ ایک عام اور دوسرا خاص۔ عام معنی یہ ہیں کہ جن لوگوں پر توراۃ کے علم و علم، اور اس کے مطابق دنیا کی ہدایت کا بار رکھا گیا تھا، مگر نہ انہوں نے اپنی اس ذمہ داری کو سمجھا اور نہ اس کا حق ادا کیا۔ خاص معنی یہ ہیں کہ حامل توراۃ گروہ ہونے کی حیثیت سے جن کا کام یہ تھا کہ سب سے پہلے آگے بڑھ کر اس رسول کا ساتھ دیتے جس کے آنے کی صاف صاف بشارت توراۃ میں دی گئی تھی، مگر انہوں نے سب سے بڑھ کر اس کی مخالف کی اور توراۃ کی تعلیم کے تقاضے کو پورا نہ کیا۔

Translations are available in both JSON and SQLite database formats. Some translation has footnotes as well, footnotes are embedded in the translation text using sup HTML tag. To support a wide range of applications, including websites, mobile apps, and desktop tools, we provide multiple export formats for translations.

Available export formats:

1. Nested Array Structure

Translations are grouped by Surah. Each Surah is an array containing translations for each Ayah in order. This format export translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes.

2. Key-Value Structure

Each translation is stored with the Ayah reference (e.g. 1:1) as the key and the translated text as the value. This format also exports translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes etc.

Translations with Footnotes

Translations with footnotes are available in three more formats:

1. Footnotes as Tags Format

Footnotes are embedded using a <sup> tag with a foot_note attribute. Footnote contents are stored separately under f key.

2. Inline Footnote Format

Footnotes are inserted directly using double square brackets e.g([[this is footnote]])

3. Text Chunks Format

In chunks export format, text is divided into chunks. Each chunk could be a simple text or an object. Object can be either footnote or a formatting tag. This format is useful for applications can't directly render the HTML tags. Here is an example of Bridges` translation for Surah An-Nas , Ayah 6:
