87:7

إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ ٧

سوائے اُس کے جو اللہ چاہے،¹ وہ ظاہر کو بھی جانتا ہے اور جوکچھ پوشیدہ ہے اُس کو بھی۔²

[1] اس فقرے کے د و مطلب ہو سکتے ہیں۔ ایک یہ کہ پورے قرآن کا لفظ بلفظ آپ کے حافظے میں محفوظ ہو جانا آپ کی اپنی قوّت کا کرشمہ نہیں ہے بلکہ اللہ کے فضل اور اس کی توفیق کا نتیجہ ہے ، ورنہ اللہ چاہے تو اسے بھُلا سکتا ہے۔ یہ وہی مضمون ہے جو دوسری جگہ قرآن مجید میں یوں بیان کیا گیا ہے: وَلَئِنْ شِئْنَا لَنَذْھَبَنَّ بِا لَّذِیْٓ اَوْ حَیْنَآ اِلَیْکَ (بنی اسرائیل، 8۶)۔ ”اگر ہم چاہیں تو وہ سب کچھ تم سے چھین لیں جو ہم نے وحی کے ذریعہ سے تمہیں عطا کیا ہے۔“ دوسرا مطلب یہ بھی ہو سکتا ہے کہ کبھی وقتی طور پر آپ کو نسیان لاحق ہو جانا اور آپ کا کسی آیت یا لفظ کو کسی وقت بھول جانا اس وعدے سے مستثنٰی ہے۔ وعدہ جس بات کا کیا گیا ہے وہ یہ ہے کہ آپ مستقل طور پر قرآن کے کسی لفظ کو نہیں بھول جائیں گے۔ اِس مفہوم کی تائید صحیح بخاری کی اِس روایت سے ہوتی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ صبح کی نماز پڑھاتے ہوئے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قرأت کے دوران میں ایک آیت چھوڑ گئے۔ نماز کے بعد حضرت اُبَیّ بن کَعب نے پوچھا کیا یہ آیت منسوخ ہو چکی ہے ؟ حضور ؐ نے فرمایا نہیں، میں بھول گیا تھا۔
[2] ویسے تو یہ الفاظ عام ہیں اور ان کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ اللہ ہر چیز کو جانتا ہے خواہ وہ ظاہر ہو یا مخفی۔ لیکن جس سلسلۂ کلام میں یہ بات ارشاد ہوئی ہے اس کو ملحوظ رکھتے ہوئے دیکھا جائے تو اس کا مطلب یہ معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ آپ جو قرآن کو جبریل علیہ السلام کے ساتھ ساتھ پڑھتے جا رہے ہیں اِس کا بھی اللہ کو علم ہے ، اور بھول جانے کے جس خوف کی بنا پر آپ ایسا کر رہے ہیں وہ بھی اللہ کے علم میں ہے۔ اس لیے آپ کو یہ اطمینان دلایا جارہا ہے کہ آپ اسے بھولیں گے نہیں۔

Translations are available in both JSON and SQLite database formats. Some translation has footnotes as well, footnotes are embedded in the translation text using sup HTML tag. To support a wide range of applications, including websites, mobile apps, and desktop tools, we provide multiple export formats for translations.

Available export formats:

1. Nested Array Structure

Translations are grouped by Surah. Each Surah is an array containing translations for each Ayah in order. This format export translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes.

2. Key-Value Structure

Each translation is stored with the Ayah reference (e.g. 1:1) as the key and the translated text as the value. This format also exports translations as simple text, no formatting, no footnotes etc.

Translations with Footnotes

Translations with footnotes are available in three more formats:

1. Footnotes as Tags Format

Footnotes are embedded using a <sup> tag with a foot_note attribute. Footnote contents are stored separately under f key.

2. Inline Footnote Format

Footnotes are inserted directly using double square brackets e.g([[this is footnote]])

3. Text Chunks Format

In chunks export format, text is divided into chunks. Each chunk could be a simple text or an object. Object can be either footnote or a formatting tag. This format is useful for applications can't directly render the HTML tags. Here is an example of Bridges` translation for Surah An-Nas , Ayah 6:
