Ибн Аббас сказал:
( فِي كَبَدٍ ) «С тяготами» - значит с трудностями в создании», это ярко выражается при рождении человека, смерти и прорезании зубов. Муджахид по этому поводу сказал: «Здесь подразумеваются трудности на этапах развития: капля, сгусток, кусок мяса и т.п.». Подобно этому Аллах сказал:( حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ كُرْهًا وَوَضَعَتْهُ كُرْهًا ) «Матери тяжело носить его и рожать его»(46:15). Саид ибн Джубейр истолковал: «Это трудности и тяготы жизни». Комментарий аль-Хасана: «То есть, человек чувствует тяготы и трудности в этой и Другой жизни». В другой передаче: «Претерпевает невзгоды в этом мире и трудности в Другом мире». По мнению ибн Джарира, здесь имеются в виду тяготы жизни.
