وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحٗا وَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَجَعَلۡنَا فِي ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَٱلۡكِتَٰبَۖ فَمِنۡهُم مُّهۡتَدٖۖ وَكَثِيرٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ فَٰسِقُونَ ٢٦ ثُمَّ قَفَّيۡنَا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم بِرُسُلِنَا وَقَفَّيۡنَا بِعِيسَى ٱبۡنِ مَرۡيَمَ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلۡإِنجِيلَۖ وَجَعَلۡنَا فِي قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُ رَأۡفَةٗ وَرَحۡمَةٗۚ وَرَهۡبَانِيَّةً ٱبۡتَدَعُوهَا مَا كَتَبۡنَٰهَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ إِلَّا ٱبۡتِغَآءَ رِضۡوَٰنِ ٱللَّهِ فَمَا رَعَوۡهَا حَقَّ رِعَايَتِهَاۖ فَـَٔاتَيۡنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ أَجۡرَهُمۡۖ وَكَثِيرٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ فَٰسِقُونَ ٢٧

اللہ کی طرف سے جتنے پیغمبر آئے سب ایک ہی دین لے کر آئے۔ مگر بعد کے زمانہ میں لوگوں نے پیغمبر کے نام پر بدعتیں ایجاد کرلیں۔ اس کی ایک مثال حضرت مسیح علیہ السلام کے پیرو ہیں۔ حضرت مسیح کے ذمہ صرف دعوت کا کام تھا۔ آپ کی پیغمبرانہ ذمہ داری میں قتال شامل نہ تھا۔ چنانچہ آپ نے سب سے زیادہ داعیانہ اخلاق پر زور دیا۔ اور داعیانہ اخلاق سراسررافت و رحمت پر مبنی ہوتا ہے۔ آپ نے اپنے پیروؤں سے کہا کہ وہ لوگوں کے مقابلہ میں یک طرفہ طور پر رافت و رحمت کا طریقہ اختیار کریں۔ مگر حضرت مسیح کے بعد آپ کے پیرو اس مصلحت کو سمجھ نہ سکے۔ ان کا یہ مزاج انہیں رہبانیت کی طرف بہا لے گیا۔ اعراض دنیا کی جو تعلیم انہیں دعوت کے مقصد سے دی گئی تھی اس کو انہوں نے مزید مبالغہ کے ساتھ ترک ِدنيا کے لیے اختیار کرنا شروع کردیا۔

QUL supports exporting tafsir content in both JSON and SQLite formats. Tafsir text may include <html> tags for formatting such as <b>, <i>, etc.

  • Keys in the JSON are "ayah_key" in "surah:ayah", e.g. "2:3" means 3rd ayah of Surah Al-Baqarah.
  • The value of ayah key can either be:
    • an object — this is the main tafsir group. It includes:
      • text: the tafsir content (can include HTML)
      • ayah_keys: an array of ayah keys this tafsir applies to
    • a string — this indicates the tafsir is part of a group. The string points to the ayah_key where the tafsir text can be found.

SQLite exports includes the following columns

  • ayah_key: the ayah for which this record applies.
  • group_ayah_key: the ayah key that contains the main tafsir text (used for shared tafsir).
  • from_ayah / to_ayah: start and end ayah keys for convenience (optional).
  • ayah_keys: comma-separated list of all ayah keys that this tafsir covers.
  • text: tafsir text. If blank, use the text from the group_ayah_key.
