مُسْتَكْبِرًا
arrogantly
كَأَنأَن
as if
لَّمْ

يَسْمَعْهَا
he heard them
فَبَشِّرْهُ
So give him tidings
بِعَذَابٍ
(of) a punishment
أَلِيمٍ
painful
