أما في الدنيا فمتاع قليل وأما في الآخرة فلهم عذاب أليم كما قال "نمتعهم قليلا ثم نضطرهم إلى عذاب غليظ" وقال "إن الذين يفترون على الله الكذب لا يفلحون متاع في الدنيا ثم إلينا مرجعهم ثم نذيقهم العذاب الشديد بما كانوا يكفرون".
