أي : من ادعى منهم أنه إله من دون الله ، أي : مع الله ، ( فذلك نجزيه جهنم كذلك نجزي الظالمين ) أي : كل من قال ذلك ، وهذا شرط ، والشرط لا يلزم وقوعه ، كقوله : ( قل إن كان للرحمن ولد فأنا أول العابدين ) [ الزخرف : 81 ] ، وقوله ( لئن أشركت ليحبطن عملك ) [ الزمر : 65 ] .
