(لَقَدْ كُنْتُم) أيها القوم ( أَنْتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُمْ ) بعبادتكم إياها( فِي ضَلالٍ مُبِينٍ ) يقول: في ذهاب عن سبيل الحقّ، وجور عن قصد السبيل مبين: يقول: بين لمن تأمله بعقل، إنكم كذلك في جور عن الحقّ.
