فعندها قال لهم إبراهيم لما اعترفوا بذلك : ( أفتعبدون من دون الله ما لا ينفعكم شيئا ولا يضركم ) أي : إذا كانت لا تنطق ، وهي لا تضر ولا تنفع ، فلم تعبدونها من دون الله .
