ولهذا قال متهددا لهم ومتواعدا : ( فذرهم في غمرتهم ) أي : في غيهم وضلالهم ) حتى حين ) أي : إلى حين حينهم وهلاكهم ، كما قال تعالى : ( فمهل الكافرين أمهلهم رويدا ) [ الطارق : 17 ] ، وقال تعالى : ( ذرهم يأكلوا ويتمتعوا ويلههم الأمل فسوف يعلمون ) [ الحجر : 3 ] .
