وقوله : ( وقل رب اغفر وارحم وأنت خير الراحمين ) هذا إرشاد من الله إلى هذا الدعاء ، فالغفر إذا أطلق معناه محو الذنب وستره عن الناس ، والرحمة معناها : أن يسدده ويوفقه في الأقوال والأفعال .
