فلما أصبحوا وليس في ناديهم داع ولا مجيب ، غاظ ذلك فرعون واشتد غضبه على بني إسرائيل ; لما يريد الله به من الدمار ، فأرسل سريعا في بلاده حاشرين ، أي : من يحشر الجند ويجمعه ، كالنقباء والحجاب ، ونادى فيهم :
