فجمعت عند ذلك أمراءها ووزراءها وكبراء دولتها ومملكتها ، ثم قالت لهم : ( يا أيها الملأ إني ألقي إلي كتاب كريم ) تعني بكرمه : ما رأته من عجيب أمره ، كون طائر أتى به فألقاه إليها ، ثم تولى عنها أدبا . وهذا أمر لا يقدر عليه أحد من الملوك ، ولا سبيل لهم إلى ذلك ، ثم قرأته عليهم .
