ثم قال تعالى يذكرهم بما كانوا عاهدوا الله من قبل هذا الخوف ، ألا يولوا الأدبار ولا يفروا من الزحف ، ( وكان عهد الله مسئولا ) أي : وإن الله تعالى سيسألهم عن ذلك العهد ، لا بد من ذلك .
