وقوله ( وَمَتَاعًا إِلَى حِينٍ ) يقول: ولنمتعهم إلى أجل هم بالغوه، فكأنه قال: ولا هم يُنْقذُونَ، إلا أن نرحمهم فنمتعهم إلى أجل .
وبنحو الذي قلنا في ذلك قال أهل التأويل
* ذكر من قال ذلك:
حدثنا بشر، قال: ثنا يزيد، قال: ثنا سعيد، عن قتادة ( وَمَتَاعًا إِلَى حِينٍ ) أي: إلى الموت .
