وقوله : ( بل عجبت ويسخرون ) أي : بل عجبت - يا محمد - من تكذيب هؤلاء المنكرين للبعث ، وأنت موقن مصدق بما أخبر الله به من الأمر العجيب ، وهو إعادة الأجسام بعد فنائها . وهم بخلاف أمرك ، من شدة تكذيبهم يسخرون مما تقول لهم من ذلك .قال قتادة : عجب محمد - صلى الله عليه وسلم - وسخر ضلال بني آدم .
