وقوله : ( والذين اتخذوا من دونه أولياء ) يعني : المشركين ، ( الله حفيظ عليهم ) أي : شهيد على أعمالهم ، يحصيها ويعدها عدا ، وسيجزيهم بها أوفر الجزاء . ( وما أنت عليهم بوكيل ) أي : إنما أنت نذير والله على كل شيء وكيل .
