وقوله : ( وجعلوا الملائكة الذين هم عباد الرحمن إناثا ) أي : اعتقدوا فيهم ذلك ، فأنكر عليهم تعالى قولهم ذلك ، فقال : ( أشهدوا خلقهم ) أي : شاهدوه وقد خلقهم الله إناثا ، ( ستكتب شهادتهم ) أي : بذلك ، ( ويسألون ) عن ذلك يوم القيامة . وهذا تهديد شديد ، ووعيد أكيد .
