( مناع للخير ) أي : لا يؤدي ما عليه من الحقوق ، ولا بر فيه ولا صلة ولا صدقة ، ( معتد ) أي : فيما ينفقه ويصرفه ، يتجاوز فيه الحد .
وقال قتادة : معتد في منطقه وسيرته وأمره .
( مريب ) أي : شاك في أمره ، مريب لمن نظر في أمره .
