ثم قال تعالى : ( أم تأمرهم أحلامهم بهذا ) أي : عقولهم تأمرهم بهذا الذي يقولونه فيك من الأقوال الباطلة التي يعلمون في أنفسهم أنها كذب وزور ؟ ( أم هم قوم طاغون ) أي : ولكن هم قوم ضلال معاندون ، فهذا هو الذي يحملهم على ما قالوه فيك .
