ثم ذكر تعالى استحقاقهم لذلك ، فقال تعالى : ( إنهم كانوا قبل ذلك مترفين ) أي : كانوا في الدار الدنيا منعمين مقبلين على لذات أنفسهم ، لا يلوون على ما جاءتهم به الرسل .
