وقوله تعالى "أفبهذا الحديث أنتم مدهنون" قال العوفي عن ابن عباس أي مكذبون غير مصدقين.
وكذا قال الضحاك وأبو حزرة والسدي وقال مجاهد "مدهنون" أي تريدون أن تمالئوهم فيه وتركنوا إليهم.
