يسأل أيان يوم القيامة ) ؟ أي : يقول متى يكون يوم القيامة ؟ وإنما سؤاله سؤال استبعاد لوقوعه ، وتكذيب لوجوده ، كما قال تعالى : ( ويقولون متى هذا الوعد إن كنتم صادقين قل لكم ميعاد يوم لا تستأخرون عنه ساعة ولا تستقدمون ) [ سبأ : 29 ، 30 ] .
