﴿وعادا وثمود وأصحاب الرس وقرونا بين ذلك كثيرا﴾: الواو عاطفة، وعادًا مفعول به لفعل محذوف، تقديره: أهلكنا، أو دمرنا، و﴿ثمود وأصحاب الرس وقرونًا﴾ عطف عليه، وكثيرًا صفة لـ﴿قرونًا﴾.
