﴿ثم أغرقنا بعد الباقين﴾: ثم حرف عطف للتراخي، وأغرقنا فعل وفاعل، و﴿بعد﴾ ظرف زمان مبني على الضم لانقطاعه عن الإضافة لفظًا لا معنى، والمراد: بعد إنجائهم، والباقين مفعول أغرقنا.
