﴿إِنْ تُعَذِّبْهُمْ﴾ إن حرف شرط جازم وتعذبهم فعل الشرط والجملة مستأنفة وجملة ﴿فَإِنَّهُمْ عِبادُكَ﴾ في محل جزم جواب الشرط، وقيل تعليلية والجواب محذوف ومثل ذلك ﴿وَإِنْ تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ، فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ﴾ إن واسمها وخبراها والجملة في محل جزم جواب الشرط.
