﴿فما بكت عليهم السماء والأرض﴾: الفاء عاطفة، والكلام معطوف على جملة أغرقوا المقدرة، و﴿بكت﴾ فعل ماض، و﴿عليهم﴾ جار ومجرور متعلقان بـ﴿بكت﴾، و﴿السماء﴾ فاعل، و﴿الأرض﴾ عطف على ﴿السماء﴾.
﴿وما كانوا منظرين﴾: ﴿ما﴾ نافية، و﴿كانوا﴾ فعل ماض ناقص ناسخ، والواو اسمها، و﴿منظرين﴾ خبرها.
