﴿فارتقب إنهم مرتقبون﴾: الفاء الفصيحة، و﴿ارتقب﴾ فعل أمر، وفاعله مستتر تقديره: أنت، ومفعوله محذوف تقديره: هلاكهم، و﴿إن﴾ حرف ناسخ، و﴿هم﴾ اسمها، و﴿مرتقبون﴾ خبرها، ومفعول ﴿مرتقبون﴾ محذوف أيضًا تقديره: هلاكك، وجملة ﴿إنهم مرتقبون﴾ تعليلية للأمر بالانتظار.
