﴿أفلا يتدبرون القرآن﴾: الهمزة للاستفهام الإنكاري، والفاء عاطفة على مقدر يقتضيه السياق، ولا نافية، ويتدبرون القرآن فعل مضارع وفاعل ومفعول به.
﴿أم على قلوب أقفالها﴾: أم منقطعة بمعنى: بل وهمزة الاستفهام، والتقدير: بل أعلى قلوب أقفالها؟ و﴿على قلوب﴾ جار ومجرور متعلقان بمحذوف خبر مقدم، وأقفالها مبتدأ مؤخر وجوبًا.
