﴿يوم هم على النار يفتنون﴾: يوم مفعول فيه ظرف زمان، متعلق بفعل محذوف تقديره: يقع، أو يجيء، وهم مبتدأ، وجملة يفتنون خبره، وعلى النار: جار ومجرور متعلقان بـ﴿يفتنون﴾، وعلى بمعنى في، والجملة في محل جر بإضافة يوم إليها.
