﴿قالوا إنا كنا قبل في أهلنا مشفقين﴾: قالوا فعل وفاعل، وإن حرف ناسخ، و﴿نا﴾ اسمها، وجملة كنا خبرها، وجملة إنا كنا مقول القول، وقبل ظرف مبني على الضم لانقطاعه عن الإضافة لفظًا لا معنى، والظرف متعلق بمحذوف حال، ومشفقين خبر كان.
