﴿إنهم كانوا قبل ذلك مترفين﴾: الجملة تعليلية لا محل لها من الإعراب، وإن حرف ناسخ، و﴿هم﴾ اسمها، وجملة كانوا خبرها، وكان فعل ماض ناقص، وواو الجماعة اسمها، والظرف متعلق بمحذوف حال، أو: بـ﴿مترفين﴾، ومترفين خبر كان.
