﴿ثُمَّ﴾ حرف عطف ﴿كانَ﴾ ماض ناقص اسمه مستتر ﴿مِنَ الَّذِينَ﴾ متعلقان بمحذوف خبر كان، والجملة معطوفة على ما قبلها ﴿آمَنُوا﴾ ماض وفاعله والجملة صلة ﴿وَتَواصَوْا﴾ معطوف على آمنوا ﴿بِالصَّبْرِ﴾ متعلقان بالفعل ﴿وَتَواصَوْا بِالْمَرْحَمَةِ﴾ معطوفة على ما قبلها.
