﴿أَرَأَيْتَ﴾ الهمزة حرف استفهام وماض وفاعله ﴿إِنْ﴾ حرف شرط جازم ﴿كانَ﴾ ماض ناقص في محل جزم فعل الشرط واسمه مستتر ﴿عَلَى الْهُدى﴾ متعلقان بمحذوف خبر كان والجملة ابتدائية لا محل لها.
