( أموات ) أي الأصنام ( غير أحياء وما يشعرون ) يعني الأصنام ( أيان ) متى ( يبعثون ) والقرآن يدل على أن الأصنام تبعث وتجعل فيها الحياة فتتبرأ من عابديها .وقيل : ما يدري الكفار عبدة الأصنام متى يبعثون .
