( ونوحا إذ نادى ) دعا ، ( من قبل ) أي من قبل إبراهيم ولوط ، ( فاستجبنا له فنجيناه وأهله من الكرب العظيم ) قال ابن عباس : من الغرق وتكذيب قومه . وقيل لأنه كان أطول الأنبياء عمرا وأشدهم بلاء ، والكرب أشد الغم .
