( قال إن لبثتم ) أي : ما لبثتم في الدنيا ، ( إلا قليلا ) سماه قليلا لأن الواحد وإن طال مكثه في الدنيا فإنه يكون قليلا في جنب ما يلبث في الآخرة ، لأن لبثه في الدنيا وفي القبر متناه ، ( لو أنكم كنتم تعلمون ) قدر لبثكم في الدنيا .
