فقال الله تعالى : ( بل هم اليوم مستسلمون ) قال ابن عباس : خاضعون . وقال الحسن : منقادون ، يقال : استسلم للشيء إذا انقاد له وخضع له ، والمعنى : هم اليوم أذلاء منقادون لا حيلة لهم .
