( وما خلقنا السماء والأرض وما بينهما باطلا ) قال ابن عباس : لا لثواب ولا لعقاب . ( ذلك ظن الذين كفروا ) يعني : أهل مكة هم الذين ظنوا أنهم خلقوا لغير شيء ، وأنه لا بعث ولا حساب ( فويل للذين كفروا من النار ) .
