"فالفارقات فرقاً"، قال ابن عباس، ومجاهد، والضحاك: يعني الملائكة تأتي بما يفرق بين الحق والباطل. وقال قتادة والحسن: هي آي القرآن تفرق بين الحلال والحرام. وروي عن مجاهد قال: هي الرياح تفرق السحاب وتبدده.
