"جزاءً من ربك عطاءً حساباً"، أي جازاهم جزاء وأعطاهم عطاء "حساباً" أي: كافياً وافياً، يقال: أحسبت فلاناً، أي أعطيته ما يكفيه حتى قال حسبي. وقال ابن قتيبة:"عطاءً حساباً" أي كثيراً. وقيل: هو جزاء بقدر أعمالهم.
