ثم قال تعالى :
( وما أصابكم يوم التقى الجمعان فبإذن الله ) أي : فراركم بين يدي عدوكم وقتلهم لجماعة منكم وجراحتهم لآخرين ، كان بقضاء الله وقدره ، وله الحكمة في ذلك . [ وقوله ] ( وليعلم المؤمنين ) أي : الذين صبروا وثبتوا ولم يتزلزلوا .
