ثم قال : ( والذين كذبوا بآياتنا يمسهم العذاب بما كانوا يفسقون ) أي : ينالهم العذاب بما كفروا بما جاءت به الرسل ، وخرجوا عن أوامر الله وطاعته ، وارتكبوا محارمه ومناهيه وانتهاك حرماته .
